Nope, it’s not the Jubilee.
Not the Olympics.
No, not your great grandma’s 117th birthday…
YES. Yes, that’s it! Kidz Klub Coventry is turning TEN!
This Sunday evening we celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Kidz Klub becoming a joint partnership of churches across Coventry. Nearly 50 of our team, supporters, trustees and staff will gather at Pizza Express for stories, updates, and a fine 3-course dinner including some scrummy chocolate fudge cake.
Oh, and some messy games too.
Because no Kidz Klub gathering is complete without some sort of tomfoolery.
Can’t wait to hear how we’ve gone from one club to four, and how we’ve seen kids grow up into teenage helpers and full adult team members.
Really looking forward to celebrating with everyone!
We celebrated with the children at Central this morning by eating bananas and wearing our pyjamas (and we had cake too!). Worth celebrating that for 10 years at Elim and 5 more years before that at Heartbeat, children all over the city have been hearing about Jesus when most of them wouldn’t have any idea who He is otherwise.
It was (in modern day child-friendly language…) SICK!!!! We had a fab evening, full of food, fun and excitement about what has happened over the last 10 years, and all that’s going to happen in the next 10 years!
Bring it on!
P.S. Did I mention we managed to get 2 team members very messy with shaving foam, and a lot of team members had chocolate over their faces after playing the games where you try and get a chocolate from your forehead to your mouth without using your hands! Ha ha ha!
